Success Stories

Better Hearing and Speech Month is an annual event that provides opportunities to raise awareness about communication disorders and to promote treatment that can improve the quality of life for those who experience problems with hearing or understanding. Locally, the Kalamazoo Chapter of Psi Iota Xi holds an annual walk-a-thon event known as “The Walk for Better Hearing.” This annual event helps to raise awareness and additionally serves as a fundraiser to help support the charitable services offered through Constance Brown Hearing Centers. These services include free newborn screening for infants and financial assistance for care for adults and children.
